This is the perfect place to sit and people watch or enjoy a cup of coffee at the small dining table. Walk inside and you are greeted with original beams, heart pine floors, and exposed brick. You will walk into the open living room and kitchen. In the kitchen you will find stainless steel appliances, open shelving, and a kitchen island for additional prep space. The living room is comfortable and cozy with a large sofa, two chairs, a Smart TV, and a desk to accommodate your work from home needs! Just past the living room at the front of the house is the beautiful master suite. Here you will find a King size bed, armoire for clothing storage and beautiful modern bathroom. The bathroom features a tile shower and a vanity just outside the door in the bedroom. The full size washer/dryer is located in the closet in this room. At the back of the house you will find the additional bedrooms and bathroom. One of the bedroom features a Queen size bed, and the other, two Twin beds, perfect for accommodating any overnight guests. Both of these rooms have closets for clothing storage and views of the stunning backyard! The bathroom has a clean look with white subway tile and the original claw foot tub that has been restored. The backyard was just landscaped and features loads of greenery making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy the beautiful Charleston weather. Off street parking is located in the driveway and can fit two small cars, stacked. Pets can be negotiated with a $250 per pet fee. The Neighborhood: Harleston Village Established in the 1700s, Harleston Village is dotted with Georgian and Italianate buildings on tree-lined streets. Joggers and cyclists head to the sidewalks and shady trees around Colonial Lake, known as "The Pond." The College of Charleston, with a colonnaded entrance, lies on a picturesque campus. To the east, King Street is a hub of upscale boutiques, plus restaurants and bars with outdoor patios and a hip vibe. Other things to note: Our Housekeeping Team members clean and sanitize all hard surfaces of our vacation homes, including but not limited to floors, countertops, railings, sink faucets, appliances, doorknobs, and light switches. The quality of disinfectants we use should remove 100 percent of the microscopic organisms on surfaces, and effectively stop the spread of disease and viruses. Linens and towels are laundered offsite at our linen facility. There is no evidence to suggest that this particular coronavirus will survive the wash chemistry and temperatures in the wash and dry process. All soiled linens are treated as if they are contaminated. Our housekeeping staff is trained to use the best hygiene practices at all times. With the combination of these best practices, our employees, clients, and guests should be safe from the spread of coronavirus.
